Fees & Pricing
Transparent pricing for every stage of your case
How We Charge
Prepaid Hourly Representation
Traditional, full-service legal representation on a prepaid hourly basis. You deposit into a trust account, and we begin working your case immediately—billing in six-minute increments. When the balance falls below a threshold, you replenish it. Unearned funds are always returned.
This is for clients who need experienced counsel handling their matter from day one—no waiting, no case-building on your own. Ideal when your situation is urgent, complex, or when you simply want an attorney driving the process.
Hourly rates are set based on the complexity of your matter and the experience of the attorney assigned. Current rates are provided in your Contract for Legal Services.
Contingent Fee
We share the risk. In contingent-fee cases, you pay no attorney's fees unless and until we recover money for you. We may also advance litigation costs.
Court costs and case expenses are separate from attorney's fees. Whether you are responsible for costs if there is no recovery is set out in your written agreement.
- Pre-litigation: 33.33% of recovery
- Litigation: 40% of recovery
When a recovery is obtained, the fee under our contingent-fee agreement is the larger of the percentage above or compensation for work actually performed at the attorney’s hourly rate. The hourly rate is a floor, not a way to undercut the percentage. Your signed agreement controls.
Apply for contingent-fee representation through Cloud Counsel at no cost.

For Employment Attorneys
Joining our co-counsel network is free — marketplace referrals are 25% of your contingent fee, matters you originate are 15%, and we get paid only when you recover. Demand Desk assembly does not change those rates. The optional subscription below is for firms that want to run their own caseload on Cloud Counsel's tools with no fee division.
AI document drafting (complaints, discovery, disclosures, demand letters) is included on referred cases. On a subscribed firm's own caseload, drafting is a per-document purchase with firm-admin seat controls — contact us for custom premium pricing at volume.
